Selecting a wedding photographer shouldn't feel like deciding which little box you'd fit into best. With all of the styles and approaches on offer that often seem to create an either/or dichotomy, what if I told you that you can have everything you want? Highly skilled and experienced photographers can and should customize their approach based on your preferences, combining documentary, editorial, modern, and traditional styles to bring your vision to life.
At Tara Tomlinson Photography, we do just that. Our signature style also allows for the flexibility required to create images that reflect and embrace the ambiance and atmosphere of a soft and light wedding to a dark and sophisticated wedding, and everything in between, while maintaining a consistently beautiful, high-end look,

A Note about Hourly Coverage:
You don't have to know every detail about your wedding plans at the time of booking in order to have the perfect amount of coverage for your wedding day.
When in doubt, I recommend booking for the minimum number of hours we know you'll need and leaving the option open to add more coverage, if needed, at your final timeline review.
Most couples don't need to add time, due to my customized consultation process. But it's nice to know you can, and that you won't feel the need to book more coverage/spend more than is necessary.
My goal is to make this process easy, fun, and sresss-free!
A Note about Timelines:
The sample timeline below represents a standard 8 hour timeline with a First Look. Every wedding has unique needs, and the best timeline for your day is impacted by factors such as: how many bridesmaids & groomsmen you have, whether all parts of the day are taking place at the same or different locations, length of ceremony, etc.
The timeline can be adjusted go remove the First Look, when appropriate.

Booking Process
A phone consultation is truly ideal, as it allows for the most effective and personal communication. It's also helpful to walk through a potential timeline that is customized to your plans so that we can be sure that we are recommending the perfect amount of coverage to suit your needs and budget. If you aren't able to schedule a call, please let us know so that we can accommodate you. You can schedule a call using the form at the bottom go this page.
After our call, you will receive a proposal which will include a link to complete your booking. You will be able to follow the prompts to e-sign your contract and complete payment of your retainer.
There is a non-refundable retainer of $2,000 due at the time of booking. Your final balance will reflect this payment.
