Alex + Justin
Boca Grand is a beautiful little village on Gasparilla Island in Lee County, Florida. The town has managed to retain its Old Florida charm, and boasts a historic downtown, banyan lined street, two lighthouses, and the Gasparilla Inn, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Alex and Justin chose a classic, timeless, and elegant feel for their wedding and the results were jaw dropping. From the perspective of someone who is not a planner, but who sees a lot of weddings, I have to say that I think the couple's planner, NK Events and Weddings, are experts at producing weddings with this look. Alex's simple yet elegant wedding dress looked absolutely stunning on her, and somehow her stylist managed to create an updo that was both romantic and sleek. The bride and groom both got ready at the Gasparilla Inn, and their first look was at a tiny little park across the street that offered a bit of privacy with a tropical flair. The ceremony took place on Banyan Street and we had the most beautiful golden sunlight streaming through - it was pretty magical! After the ceremony, we did portraits out on the beach and then arrived at Boca Bay Pass Club just in time to enjoy the sunset and join the reception. The dusty blue and gray linens looked so beautiful in the beach setting, and the clear tent not only allowed the guests to see the sunset during cocktail hour, but it also reflected the thousands of warm toned fairy and cafe lights, making it look like there were twice as many lights than there actually were. The effect was stunning, and so romantic.
